So many of us need to be reminded that sports is about doing your best, teamwork, working hard at something. Not about winning. It's so hard though to walk that fine line between encouraging your child, maybe challenging them a bit, but not getting overly involved in the winning thing. I just think more parents need to be aware of this important balance -- if all of us did that, we'd find that childhood sports will become what it is supposed to be -- FUN but with purpose -- rather than what is currently is.
