The baby also wants mommy so desperately for a long time, that it’s normal for dad to sometimes feel a little bit outside looking in. Great Dads won’t resent that, but prepare themselves for the “age of dad,” around four to five, when dad becomes the king of fun around the house, if he wants that role. Still, any book that offers tips to bring you closer to the baby is good during that time, especially since you’re setting the pattern for a lifetime to come.

My recommendation is to buy three these and set them up where they will create a glow on the big night. I doubt they would make a good present – she’ll just think you bought another dumb gadget.

For a dad who packs a lunch every day wondering whether the good stuff will get eaten, finding variety is a big issue…. I could never pack bananas because by the time the lunch box was tossed around the playground a few times, the banana was too mushy to be eaten.

The book also features an optional personalized poly-chenille blanket taht is featured in the story and can also be customized by name, as well as color (pink, blue or green)
Knowing how kids love to hear their names, we were a bit disappointed that the book doesn’t feature the child’s name on every page, but that may have been difficult for cost reasons.

There’s not much he can do, and he can barely empathize with his wife’s ups and downs, or her connection with the baby growing insider her…. This number is stored and can be compared against data from the last ten sessions so mom and dad can feel safe that nothing has changed for the baby.

It’s a nice big book in a dangerous red color and it’s the type of thing guys like to read, often while taking a break in the bathroom. The book is a compendium of random guy subjects like “essential gear,” “how to make a go kart,” and a long section on secret codes.
