The Hcg detected in ovulation tests is that the same Hcg detected in early pregnancy?

I think you are confused HCG is only present when the woman is pregnant. Ovulation tests actually measure LH levels (luteinizing Hormone). The LH levels rise drastically just before the egg drops.
