Interesting name Kwalae from the rap star?

Here are my 2 cents (or 3). I'd worry less about the middle name since most likely most people will never see or hear it. It sounds French and likely a family name? Middle names often are used to pay homage to older family members or maiden names. Kwalae is a more difficult choice and I'm sure you're getting lots of comments on both sides. On one hand, if you choose a different sounding name, you are giving your child a lifetime of explaining and spelling to do (I say this as someone's whose last name is BANAS - try pronouncing that correctly). I don't think Kwalae is that difficult to read and pronounce, but will be difficult for 99% of people to spell correctly. On the other hand, Kwalae will be more memorable than some of the more common names, or names that are in fashion right now.

Best of luck with your choice! My last advice - choose before you get to the delivery room. If you haven't chosen by then, your partner will be the one choosing - guaranteed! It's hard to argue with a woman who has just given birth to your child!
