These are time out pillows made in the form of friendly monsters. We never used time outs very much, but I can see these adding a touch of warmth to the time out idea.
PS: we found out that they are not that fun after all. A menacing voice threatens to eat the child the next time he has to go on the time out pad.

Actually, my kids have reacted quite well to their Naughty Monsters. The voice does not threaten to eat them! Not sure where that came from! When the timer goes off the Monster says “You can get up now, but don’t be a Naughty Monster!” It says it in a FRIENDLY monster voice- a girl monster if you have the girl version, or a boy monster voice if you have the boy monster. My kids, as well as my friends children, listen to the monster more than they listen to my husband and I. Psychology I guess, but its almost like a friend that they listen to. I think its a great idea and a great product. I would definitely recommend it to other parents.
