The Land of Me is a new range of creative software for early learners. Available as a download off the internet (once downloaded it can be played without a connection), there are six chapters all varying between stories, songs, dances. The program was designed by people that worked on Batman and a Professor of Children’s studies. Your child follows animated characters Buddy Boo the bear, Willow the owl and Eric the raccoon through a world created by the player. You and your child gets to pick and chose where they want to go, what they want to build, which monster they want to be along with lots of other options. It is about making choices to fire up the imagination - different weather, shapes, colours and scenes allows you to encourage the child\'s creativity. If you have difficulty finding something at the computer to play with your little one then The Land of Me is ideal. Made by Dads who wanted to play something with their children that they enjoyed as well, it is visually appealing and interesting for players big and small. This Dad uses The Land of Me to fire up the imagination of his son or daughter, allowing them to be creative through play. |
