| After nine long months of pregnancy some women want to enjoy the occasional or celebratory drink but worry about passing anything negative onto baby if they are breastfeeding. The Milkscreen home test for alcohol let's mom reclaim some of her social life but also continue breastfeeding with confidence because they know their breast milk is okay for baby. Mom simply expresses a few drops of breast milk onto the Milkscreen test strip and in less than 2 minutes the color will change if alcohol is present. This let's mom know if she is okay to feed baby or if she should find an alternative source of food for baby. Julie Jumonville came up with the idea after she had her first child and was asked to be the matron of honor at her sister-in-laws wedding. Julie wanted to partake in all of the wedding festivities but worried about doing anything that might be harmful to her new baby. After talking with friends and based on her own experience, Julie decided there was definitely a need for a product like Milkscreen. Julie is a successful entrepreneur, mother of two and serves on the Board of the Mothers Milk Bank of Austin.
