SpellQuizzer is spelling software for parents of elementary school students. SpellQuizzer helps kids master their spelling words. SpellQuizzer quizzes children on their weekly spelling words by playing their words for them through the PC's speakers. The student enters the words on the keyboard receiving corrections from the software when a word is spelled incorrectly. Spelling lists are created by inputting the words for each list making a sound recording of each word. Guaranteed to help any student master their weekly spelling lists.
SpellQuizzer was developed by the father of two elementary school students who hated sitting down each night going over their spelling words with their parents. It was tedious and time consuming for both the parents and the kids. The children were having difficulty with their weekly spelling tests and the father decided there was a better way. He developed SpellQuizzer to automate the process for quizzing the kids each day on the given week's spelling list. The kids found the software fun to use and they were soon getting "A's" on their tests.
SpellQuizzer is ideal for spelling test preparation as well as vocabulary expansion and spelling bee preparation. Available as a free 30-day trial. Software developer Dan Hite of TedCo Software originally developed SpellQuizzer for his two elementary school daughters who were doing poorly on their end of week spelling tests. Once he saw how much the software was helping his children (and how it ended the nightly battle to get the kids to practice their spelling words) he made the software available to the general public at SpellQuizzer.com.
