Sound Beginnings was designed for comfort and ease of use. There is no assembly or disassembly and the entire device, speakers and all, is machine washable. With Sound Delivery we went a step further and created a turnkey service that allows dads and other family members who might be away from mom and baby to be a part of the pregnancy by sharing their stories in their own voices. Research is growing about the ability of prenatal babies to hear and recall sound, and we've created the product as another way for dad to bond with baby before birth.

While Sound Beginnings isn't on a list of essential pregnancy items, we like things like this that involve dad with the pregnancy. The process of recording and loading the mp3's is probably as simple as can be may still be a cumbersome process for the tech-challenged.

Additionally, we appreciate that the makers make no claims about improving baby intelligence by sending information to the baby before birth. On the other hand, several studies have shown that babies do hear sounds made by mom and dad during pregnancy.
