| Happy Heinys One Size reusable diapers were invented nearly 10 years ago due to the premature birth of Sarah. Off-gassing of the disposable diapers caused breathing problems and when we switched her to cloth there was a documented decrease of needs for medications and hospitalizations by 50%. At that time though there were very few products available, that is, beside the old fashioned pins and rubber pants. Through much trial and error, Happy Heinys was born. After having several single diapers sell for over $200 each, Happy Heinys became known as one of the original pocket diaper brands. Ten years, later you can find the product in over 30 different countries but the best part is the company remembers where they started. As a company we have sworn to stay in our own community using local members as employees. Customer service comes from the owner. Have special needs? We will make exactly what your child needs. As others similar companies move to China & Egypt we remain in our San Diego hometown continuing to bring parents superb products. We are one of the few companies to remain 100% family owned & run & often have many kids here daily. Linda Byerline never imagined going into business on her own. Before becoming a mom she worked as a nurse in hospice. Once she became a mom that was all she desired to do. After the birth of her third baby, she was forced to do whatever she could do to save her child. Each day was a terrifying day. Not knowing if that would be the day her daughter would stop breathing yet again. After having faced the dilemmas with a preemie that she did, she has sworn to help prevent as many other parents from experiencing the same problems her daughter did. Her promotion of cloth diapers is intense and the charity work is amazing, 2 tons of diapers were sent to Haiti.
