The safe-T-seat is more than just a child carrier, it’s 6 years work of a mother and father who were disappointed with the family bicycling options available. The safety advantages of our seat are that you always maintain control of the bike when loading and unloading your child, you can see what your child is doing at all times, and the center of gravity is closer to the center of the bike making it easier to control.
Experts agree that a front-mounted seat is safer for kids because it improves the center of gravity, resulting in more control of the bike, especially when stationery. It also eliminates the larger-than-expected safety issue from parents constantly turning around to check on their child
The seat uses a patented stinger assembly to make it easy to attach and remove from the bike. The seat sits higher and is smooth on the bottom. So even if your knees hit the bottom of the seat, they just glide along the smooth edges on the bottom. You could even attach a trailer bike and take two kids for a ride, though we'd pack some extra granola bars for the extra energy.
The safe-T-seat is a great way for families to get together outside. Dad and child can go exploring and talk about what they're seeing at the same time. Unlike a trailer, where dad and child have to stop to discuss what they saw because dad's up front and child is way back. Bike rides are so much better when the child is up front and parents will probably notice that kids want to go for rides in the safe-T-seat because they are part of the action.
The seat is made in the U.S.A.
