Fathers can save money reusing plastic containers from storeMuch of the food some fathers buy at the local grocery story comes in plastic containers: deli meats, whipped cream and yogurt are some quick examples.

Fathers looking to save some money around the house should use their green parenting skills and find ways to reuse these containers instead of tossing them in the trash.

After a good scrubbing, many plastic food containers from the grocery store can be used as Tupperware replacements, holding leftovers from dinner or used to bring a small lunch to the office. They are durable and easy to clean.

Families who have gardens in their backyard can also use plastic containers to grow some vegetables, at least in the beginning stages. They can also be used as an outdoor water bowl for the family dog when he or she is playing outside.

By finding ways to reuse the plastic containers, fathers can save money by not having to buy expensive storage containers from the store.

Also, fathers with creative children may want to use some of the containers in a more artistic way. Save the smaller yogurt or margarine ones for projects that might require your child to create a robot or character out of household items.ADNFCR-1662-ID-19256865-ADNFCR
