Dads begin school feeding service

Moms may be able to pick up some parenting skills from the dads who have recently started a scheme that will see food delivered to schoolchildren.

Johnathan Brouver and Mike Teders have started the initiative in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with the intention of offering the youngsters more healthy meals, reports Red Orbit.

Parents and children must visit the Lunch Shuffle website in an attempt to order the foods, the day before they want to receive them at the latest.

"As a parent, if you're willing to give up one fancy cup of coffee a day then that's the price of our lunches," Mr Brouver told the news source.

Principal at St John the Baptist School in Fort Wayne, which took on a two-week trial of the service, remarked that nutrition for children could be enhanced thanks to the fresh options.

Both of the entrepreneurs are used to fatherhood and stated that it was a large risk to pump family money into the venture but it would appear to be worth it so far.

It is likely that the price of food in Saginaw County will rise when kids return to start the new academic year in September thanks to increased fuel costs, reports mlive.com. ADNFCR-1662-ID-18696137-ADNFCR
