Your child is at an age where his energy levels are at an all time high. He revels in his independence, given the slightest opportunity, will run, climb, and jump. The playground is the perfect place for him. As a careful father, you need to be aware of the hazards that your child faces when romping around in the playground anywhere. Dangers such as faulty slides, broken swings, hard surfaces, or high climbing equipment, all pose a threat to this zealous bundle of life. Statistics reveal that almost 500,000 children in the US are injured at playgrounds every year. A majority of these injuries are due to faulty playground equipment or falls onto hard surfaces.

While you have someone or the other to supervise your child, one cannot be too careful when it comes to poor equipment.
