I have watched some pretty sexy bedroom scenes I didn't know was in the movie and quickly sent them
into the kitchen to get a snack. So embarrassing and uncalled for. Then I wondered what went through their
little minds when they saw this scene. Now I watch a movie first, before they see it

Coming to America. I was embarassed by the strong language.

By Tracy,   From Siloam Springs
Well, it's not a movie, but trying to watch Grey's Anatomy when my 3 year old wasn't sleeping proved disastrous. If they're not all sleeping together some one is screaming with blood all over them. Uhhh, weren't you just napping???

By Peggy,   From Preston
Superbowl when Janet Jackson had a malfunction,we were all surprised!

By Helen,   From El Paso
When my daughter was little, I took her to see D.C. Cab because she loved Mr. T. It's got a lot of nudity in the movie and I didn't know that, so uncomfortable!

By Meg,   From baltimore
I recently watched Ace Ventura with my sister and 5 year old niece. Explaining why a girl was a boy was a little difficult.

It's gotta be 'When Harry Met Sally', - the scene at the restaurant after which an old lady said 'I'll have what they're having!' How in the world do you explain that.

It's gotta be 'When Harry Met Sally', - the scene at the restaurant after which an old lady said 'I'll have what they're having!' How in the world do you explain that to kids!

By Terri,   From Fort Atkinson
We recently took our kids (11 and 9) to see Land of the Lost. We didn't realized until it was too late that most of the humor was sexual in content. Luckily as many others have said...the kids didn't understand most of it.

By BariV,   From Livingston
I'd love to see this movie. My friends talked about it

By Janet,   From AFTON
i cant think of any right off my head but im sure theres been plenty of times

By alice,   From Cupertino
Any sex scene or inappropriate making out scene is equally embarrassing when my children are there!

By Bridget,   From Chesapeake
"One time at band camp..." After watching the movie, my ex and I use to pick on my daughter because she was going to band camp and her voice sounded just like that. Then several years later when she was actually old enough to see the movie...and discovered the rest of that quote. So embarassing.

By tanya,   From minneapolis
When Harry Met Sally, for sure. You know the scene, "I'll have what she's having" . . .

By jill,   From Bowling Green

In "Hancock", one character's face is put into the backside of another. Visually unappealing, and tough to explain!

By Kristen,   From Plainfield
the most embarrassing movie scene I have seen with the kids was in the movie Click when the dog was on the duck. They asked why the dog was bouncing on the duck...so embarrassing. immediately turned that off!

There were a few scenes in The Heartbreak Kid that were very uncomfortable to watch with my parents. haha. Very uncomfortable.

By Leilani,   From Houston
In Love, Actually, two characters are stand-ins for porn stars so the positions and actions were a little unexpected in what I thought was going to be a sweet, Christmas romantic comedy!

By Timothy,   From Lexington
I'm not sure if embarassed is the word, but I was upset when my wife and I were watching Payback (fairly violent) and discovered that our daughter who we thought was asleep was awake!

By Dorothy,   From Valparaiso
I don't like for them to see people being cruel to one another especially their family

By PegiL,   From Hamburg
I'd love toi see this movie

By Belenda,   From Springfield
No children, but I think any movie with strong sex scenes and language you wouldn't want the child to repeat would be embarassing.

By Jessica,   From PA
My nieces love the movie Bring it On, but I think certain parts got a bit risque!

By gloria,   From sebewaing
It was the movie The Wrestler when he was in the strip joint. I was embarrassed and my kids are 18 and 20.

By Rachel,   From Orange
Without a doubt, it was when I was babysitting two tweens and we were watching WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. You know what scene I'm talking about, all full of pie and loud noises. Anyway, an explanation was requested by the girls, and believe it or not I provided one.

By Dave,   From Buffalo
I saw the new Transformers movie with my nephew and I was completely embarrassed by all the sexual innuendo. Every teenager was depicted as some sort of pervert. It was an awful film and completely inappropriate for children. If you are going to make a film about toys that you know children are going to beg to go see, why not give your characters moral values and make them heroes that young people can aspire to be??

By Megan,   From San Francisco Bay
Well, I'm going to go with the reverse since I don't have a lot of funny stories with my nieces, but I can tell you that when I was a kid I walked in on my parents watching "Die Hard" and my first question was "what does (the f word) mean?" I think I asked about ten times, and I didn't censor myself. My mom was so mortified.

By Ken,   From Keyport NJ
The recent Batman movie was embarressing when the Joker did his nasty pencil trick. Please accept my entry. Thank you.

By Melissa,   From Baltimore
The double entendres in The House Bunny embarrassed me but went right over my girls' heads.

By Kimberly,   From Milwaukee
I was watching Silence of the Lambs when my nephew walked in on me. He saw the serial killer and got all bugged eyed and was very troubled trying to figure out if it was a man or a woman. I wasn't expecting to have a crossdressing talk with a 7 year old that night. :)

By Charlotte,   From Jasper
We all loved and laughed thru "How to lose a Guy in 10 days!">> Thank You for the chance to win it! We do not embarrass easily >>>I would say war movies shame me more because I always tell my children not to fight for any reason and it is hard to explain the cruelty. I like it better when even their friends, will not fight with them because they are not war like.
The most difficult film for me was "Glory" a fabulous movie but so hard to watch, we cried.

By Lori,   From Reston
My kids walked in while I was watching the Money Pit.... sex scene. While really tame, it was a little too much for their eyes

By Carol,   From WASHINGTON
I took the grandkids to see Scary Movie and I was the one embarressed.

By Donna,   From sharpsville
i sincerely want this one, please

By Chris,   From Frederick
The most embarrassing scene I've watched kids is the time I took my child to see Fatal Attraction. I don't know the love scenes would be so steamy. Thanks for the giveaway!

By Denise,   From Mattituck
There haven't really been any. We're very strict with what our children can watch for their ages. We know that movies rated "PG13" are movies that used to be rated "R" years ago. So, we know not to let them watch those either. We keep on top of things.

By Mike,   From Holiday

I will never even remember the name of the movie - that's how embarrassed I was! It was on TV, so it couldn't have been TOO bad, but my 3 year old walked by and asked why those people were going swimming!! In his mind, the only reason people wouldn't have shirts on is if they were going swimming!

By Andrew,   From reminderville
so many, like the innuendo in the new star trek

By Danielle,   From Charlotte
The most embarrassing was the sex scene from Troy. I had to make them leave the room and close their ears!

By sandy,   From usa
ok there are plenty but the scene in beaches with over the shoulder boulder holders

By Rita,   From Dinuba
The nude wrestling scene in Borat was pretty embarrassing.

By Amber,   From Naperville
Most embarassing scene was when my kids walked in on hubby and I watching The Thomas Crown Affair when Rene Russo is running around naked!

By Jim,   From Milwaukee
We were watching an innocent movie from the 1980s, Mischief. I forgot how much nudity there was, especially the sex scene where there was a full frontal shot of Kelly Preston.

By amanda,   From somerville
OMG My boyfriend put in MY BLOODY VALENTINE one night while I was there and his 8 year old daughter! And there is one scene where the killer stalks after a naked woman in heels! Mind you, she was having a lil fun with her boyfriend before she was stalked out but she was naked for a good 5 minutes straight and my boyfriend couldn't get the remote to work and by the time we got it to just shut off, his daughter looked at me and just said "She has no clothes on outside!" I was mortified.

By Janet,   From San Antonio
Why is Juno having a baby when she has to go to school?

By Carol,   From Wayne
I think it was in Back To School when Rodney Dangerfield was in the hot tub with the girls.

By Marilyn,   From Miramar Beach
The Movie The Blue Lagoon had a scene where Brook Shields started bleeding in the water while swimming. I had to try to explain the reason to my son who was only six then the reason why this did blood was normal for a female!
