We recently took our kids (11 and 9) to see Land of the Lost. We didn't realized until it was too late that most of the humor was sexual in content. Luckily as many others have said...the kids didn't understand most of it.

"One time at band camp..." After watching the movie, my ex and I use to pick on my daughter because she was going to band camp and her voice sounded just like that. Then several years later when she was actually old enough to see the movie...and discovered the rest of that quote. So embarassing.

I saw the new Transformers movie with my nephew and I was completely embarrassed by all the sexual innuendo. Every teenager was depicted as some sort of pervert. It was an awful film and completely inappropriate for children. If you are going to make a film about toys that you know children are going to beg to go see, why not give your characters moral values and make them heroes that young people can aspire to be??

We do not embarrass easily >>>I would say war movies shame me more because I always tell my children not to fight for any reason and it is hard to explain the cruelty. I like it better when even their friends, will not fight with them because they are not war like.

There haven't really been any. We're very strict with what our children can watch for their ages. We know that movies rated "PG13" are movies that used to be rated "R" years ago. So, we know not to let them watch those either. We keep on top of things.

OMG My boyfriend put in MY BLOODY VALENTINE one night while I was there and his 8 year old daughter! And there is one scene where the killer stalks after a naked woman in heels! Mind you, she was having a lil fun with her boyfriend before she was stalked out but she was naked for a good 5 minutes straight and my boyfriend couldn't get the remote to work and by the time we got it to just shut off, his daughter looked at me and just said "She has no clothes on outside!" I was mortified.
