logoMike Myers returns to the screen once more for a third outing as that jolly green ogre, Shrek. To the joy of (shrek)ing millions, there’s something more for everyone. Set in that Kingdom Far Far Away, Shrek the Third deals with Shrek and Fiona trying to find a suitable successor to the throne after King Harold falls ill. The hope is that the new successor will succeed to the throne and Shrek, Fiona and friends will be able to return to their old lives at the swamp.

The quest for a likely candidate leads to finding Fiona’s cousin Artie, who turns out to be a handful himself. While Shrek and party are away on <!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->their search, Prince Charming forms a new alliance of all time baddies including Captain Hook, a Cyclops, Rumpelstiltskin,Mabel the ugly stepsister and many more. Prince Charming’s coup however runs into problems with opposition by Fiona’s friends Snow White, Sleeping Beauty,Rapunzel and Cinderella, trying to buy Shrek valuable time. Shrek The Third is brought to life in breath taking CG. The Kingdom Far Far Away is picturesquely render in cutting edge 3D  and makes for some of the most memorable moments in an animation film.  This movie will have everyone (shrek)ing with laughter at the hilarious antics of the all star cast.

Dads will love to take their kids to this movie as there’s something in it for the entire family. Kids will enjoy the antics of their favorite green hero while dads will enjoy the subtler jokes that are pun-tastic. Dads should look out for crude jokes that they may not find appropriate for their impressionable offspring.

The movie is expected to be a major hit this summer Be sure to get into the green action with all the Shrek merchandise hitting stores. For now, here's a great paperback in a children's format you can buy for your kids. Includes whoopee cushion, gags, trivia and more.
