‘Mr. Bean’s Holiday’ is the sequel to the 1997 movie ‘Bean’, based on the well-known cartoon and TV series.

Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) wins the top prize in a church raffle for an all-expenses trip to the South of France, providing a perfect excuse for him to unleash his brand of subversive chaos on everything French. During the journey, he proves Murphy’s Law right with things going wrong at every step.

After an altercation with his taxi driver, Bean misses his train at the railway station in Paris. In a typical Bean-like turn of events, a Russian director, Emil Duchevsky (Karel Roden) is separated from his son, Stephan (Max Baldry). What follows is a rigmarole of hilarious antics. Stephen displays the typical British stiff upper lip and Bean’s attempts to befriend him are reminiscent of scenes from the T.V. series and the first movie ‘Bean.’

The movie is suitable for all ages but be warned about the use of brief mildly offensive language. Dads that are already Bean fans will love the movie. Kids will love Mr. Bean’s slapstick humor, the escapades, and the thrilling finish.
