What is most important when you choose a helmet for your kids is the fit. Seek help from a salesperson if you are unsure about the perfect fit. Measure the circumference of your child’s head above the ears and right above the eyebrows. A simple tailor’s measuring tape will be handy when you do this. A helmet that properly fits is comfortable, and there are no pressure points.
It is a good idea to keep the goggles with you when shopping for helmets. This way, you can match the fit of the goggles and the helmet.
Look for a helmet that meets the set standards (Central European Norm, the ASTM standard, etc.). This ensures that the helmet will be effective when skiing.
