A better method is not to let your kid get use to junk food. My kids have been eating fruits, vegetables, salads, avocado, nuts, beans, etc. since they were old enough to eat solid food and there are rarely problems (certain spices and onions still turn them off).
At our sons 6th birthday, we ate a healthy pizza with no cheese, mushrooms, tomato slices, olives and zucchini and his friends didn’t even know what they were eating – they couldn’t identify an olive or pineapple… and they only wanted cake.
Teach kids to eat healthy at a young age and spare the excuses that they simply “don’t like” broccoli or spinach – they would have if not for the junk!
