I’m a single parent – my wife passed away 6 years ago – and have 2 children, a 10 year old boy and an 8 year old girl. I’m worried that my daughter (especially) is missing out on having a woman in her life, particularly as she enters those tough teenage years. I know her mother cannot be replaced, but how can I ensure she does not lose that mother-daughter bond entirely?

I should mention that I don’t have any sisters who can step in as the role of super aunt.
