Valentine Day Ideas to Plan for Her

Want to make Valentine’s day an occasion to remember but don’t know how? Then read on for five top romantic Valentine’s Day ideas designed to put a big smile on your girl’s face.

Plan a secret romantic dinner

Send your loved one a special invitation asking them to dinner. Specify a time to meet, place and even a dress code (ie smart dress.) Get a relative or friend to watch the kids for a few hours while you set up a romantic dinner for two in your own kitchen.
Use clean table linen, put candles on the table and flowers. Get dressed up and put on some soft music. Have a go at cooking a meal.

If you can’t cook stick to something simple that you know she will like. There are thousands of websites that will help you with easy recipes and ideas.  If you are really stuck then get a friend to help and if all else fails have the number for a take out on standby in case of emergencies.

Take her on a mystery date

Tell her she is going on a mystery date and take her somewhere you know she will like. Even something as simple as a long windswept walk in the woods or along the beach can be romantic. If she loves art, why not take her to see the latest exhibition in town. If she has been talking about a new movie or concert get tickets in advance and take her to see it.

Plan a picnic

Grab a blanket and buy lots of delicious picnic food such as bread, cheese, salad and salami and a bottle of wine and head off for a picnic lunch. Just remember to have a contingency plan if the weather is bad (ie: set up the picnic in your own home.)

Make her feel special

Run her a bubble bath, light some candles and be her slave for the night. Fetch and carry for her, tell her you adore her and make her feel like a princess. She will be delighted.

Ask her to marry you

If you’re not married, but madly in love and you have been meaning to for a while then what could be more romantic than popping the question on Valentine’s Day?

These are all good ideas, made even more special because very few guys take the time to do them. You can be the guy all the women at the office are talking about on February 15.
