Kids say what you say

Okay, not always. My four year old called a camel a “caminal” the other day. But I was surpised when my eight year old daughter said “it would be a bummer” of our flight were delayed. I laughed and asked her where she got that. She said, “You say it!”

Then, today on our vacation flight, she described the breakfast as “crappy.”. I don’t think I use that word in front of her, but you never know. I don’t remember saying “bummer” since about 1993, but she’s always listening and recording.
