Why my son knows the date of the Treaty of Ghent

The Treaty of Ghent was a peace treated signed in 1814, in Ghent, and ended the War of 1812 between the US and Great Britain. It shouldn’t be an obscure treaty since it basically ratified the “special relationship” that has existed between for the past 200 years.

But why does my son know this important date, even if he is ignorant of the Treaty of Ghent and it’s historical significance? Well, that was the last code we used for the family iPad, following the use of years of his birth, his conception our wedding, and the year that Hawaii and Alaska became states. He has figured out every one, or has a mole somewhere (and I have my suspicions that it’s someone who leaks the code when they can’t be bothered to enter it for him). One of these days, I’m going to get around to creating some sort to system whereby he has to research and answer a useful math or history question before he can get on Clash of Clans. Until then, who remembers the date of the Louisiana Purchase?
