Will breastfeeding tie my spouse to the home?
This is not at all the case! Breastfeeding can be convenient no matter where the mother is because she doesn’t have to bring along feeding equipment like bottles, water, or formula. Her baby is all she needs.
According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, even if she wants to breastfeed in private, she usually can find a woman’s lounge or fitting room.
If she wishes to go out without the baby, she can pump her milk beforehand, and leave it for someone else to give the baby while she is gone.
