Your baby is nineteen weeks old. His hand movements are now coordinated enough to enable him to hold an object and transfer it from one hand to the other.
Encourage him in his efforts. He may also start pushing objects out of reach, then reach out to get them back. You can make a great game of this by reaching for things he thows, and pushing them back towards him.
