Five solutions to common medial issuesThere are very few things you can be certain about in life, but having a sick kid at least once a year is one of them. With that in mind, recently shared tips on how to best handle certain health problems - here's five of them.

1. A loose tooth. Parents should avoid taking their son or daughter to the ER and instead call the dentist. If its a baby tooth, doctors will likely just pull it out - if it's a permanent tooth, they may be able to save it. Either way, heading to a dentist will take the middle man out of the equation, as ER docs would likely call them anyway.

2. A bee sting. The only time to take serious action is if you know your child is allergic. If they aren't, removing the stinger by way of tweezers is the best way to reduce pain (as well as screaming).

3. A bitten tongue. It can happen any number of ways, and according to the news outlet, parents should only take a trip to the ER if bleeding lasts longer than 15 minutes.

4. A potential eye injury. This usually is no cause for concern unless your son or daughter is having trouble seeing or is exhibiting an inability to move or open his eye. Otherwise, icing the area and providing pain relief is all that's necessary.

5. An unexplained rash. The news provider reports that hives can be very common and generally tend to resolve themselves.
