McConaughey: Actor and diaper changer

Though actor Matthew McConaughey is opening a movie this weekend about a man dealing with his ex-girlfriends, during his promotional tour he couldn’t stop talking about fatherhood and his 9-month-old son Levi.

"I get a kick out of making him laugh which is something that happens with fatherhood," McConaughey told Parade magazine recently. "You get more foolish real quickly and you’ll do anything to get a smile from him."

Levi continues to be a hot topic for the actor, even when he’s on the red carpet. In a video shot by the Los Angeles Times, it showed the Texas native lighting up when asked what milestone his son had recently accomplished. The answer? Climbing 16 stairs.

McConaughey apparently doesn’t shy away from his fatherly parenting skills, despite his sometimes hectic schedule. People.com allowed its readers to send in questions to the actor, one of which came from Carolyn Walton from London who wondered if the actor changes his son’s diapers and whether or not Levi had peed on him.

"Yes! And Yes!" McConaughey answered. "More than a few times to both. And he gets the joke when he pees on me. He laughs. He laughs his butt off!"

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past opens nationwide this weekend.
