Pillow and swing top list of best baby products

Tired fathers of infants listen up – several of the products appearing as American Baby Magazine’s top ten baby products list are aimed at helping weary parents take a break.

For example, the number one choice – the Boppy Pillow – is shaped to conform to the body and allow parents to rest their arms while feeding their infant, CBS News reports. The pillow can also be used to help a baby get its 30 recommended minutes of "tummy time" per day.

Meanwhile, the Fisher-Price Swing is a favorite among moms and dads because they can safely place their tot inside without worrying about compromising their parenting skills.

Similarly, the Fisher-Price Bounce and Jumperoo and two other products made the top ten for their ability to keep kids entertained and secure at the same time. The Bouncer is for newborns, while the Jumperoo is aimed at kids around six months old.

American Baby Magazine senior lifestyle editor Jessica Hartshorn said that the annual AMBY awards allow moms and dads to share their favorite parenting advice and products.

"It really is a great gut check of what really works for new parents," she commented. Approximately 7,000 people voted in this year’s awards.
