When it comes to being a good husband, some guys have an easier time than others. Each man has his own Achilles' heel. Whether you struggle with leaving the toilet seat up, or just can't seem to say the right thing at the right time, navigating the labyrinth of martial bliss can be difficult. However, blogger John Shore shares some humorous tips that can help dads to succeed at fatherhood as well as husband-hood. 1. Don't complain too much. This rings especially true when it comes to discussing your job. While women certainly have the capacity to listen while you drone on and on about how awful your boss is, they likely don't want to hear about that rat bastard all day long. This is a conversation better saved for your drinking buddy. 2. Be okay with being wrong. Shore is not the first one to say it, just the latest. Being wrong is just something husbands do best, even when they're right. The sooner you accept this fact (and admit it to your wife), the better. 3. Embrace being late. There are a lot of stereotypes about women that are just not true. Unfortunately, their penchant for being late is most definitely not among those misconceptions. Just accept that she'll be running late (and you along with her), and let it go.
