Haba Musical Eggs

Haba Musical Eggs make unique sounds from clicks and rattles to jingles and chirps.

Rosemary and I think these cheerful painted wooden eggs are egg-ceptional. Ba-dup, crash!

Each of these bright, colorful eggs is unique in its color and in the sound it makes. One makes cheerful chirps when shaken, another clicks when you rotate the top and bottom halves in opposite directions. The others rattle or chime, completing the set of five very charming eggs.

No batteries, no bleeps. Made of sustainably harvested beech wood, they are extremely durable, which Rosemary proved during “testing” by dropping them several times on our hardwood floor. After repeated knocks on the floor, not only did the eggs not crack or break, the paint didn’t even chip.

The fact that the set consists of five eggs does leaves me asking, why not six? I’d like to see just one more egg in that batch for an even half dozen.

Haba Musical Eggs are great for counting games and working on color recognition and are perfect for having an egg hunt. Whimsical, unique, and just plain fun, they would make a great gift for a boy or a girl from age 1-6+.
