Sometimes it's hard to find a good family movie. All the following movies won the Oscar and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

 


 

Wallace & Gromit - The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (Winner 2006)
A giant were-rabbit is on the prowl just as the annual vegetable contest is about to be held. Watch it to find out who saves the town. This is an outstanding film to delight both young and old alike.


 

Gigi (Winner 1958)
Leslie Caron brings to life the story of a rich playboy and a young courtesan set in the Paris of 1899.


 

My Fair Lady (Winner 1965)
A misogynistic and snobbish phonetics professor has a wager that he can take on a flower girl and make her presentable in high society.


 

An American in Paris (Winner 1952)
A GI stays on in Paris to become an artist, and has to choose between the patronage of a rich American woman (Nina Foch) and a French gamine (Leslie Caron) engaged to an older man. A rapturous musical with a breathtaking dance sequence in the final.


 

Holiday Inn (Special Edition) (Winner 1945)
Lovely Linda Mason has crooner Jim Hardy head over heels, but suave stepper Ted Hanover wants her for his new dance partner after femme fatale Lila Dixon gives him the brush. The DVD includes a retrospective of Crosby and Astaire featuring an interview with Ava Astaire-MacKenzie.
