SAN FRANCISCO (May 20, 2010) – Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco is proud to announce the winners of its Father’s Day Honors. The awards are sponsored by Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection benefiting The Guardsmen to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Father’s Day. This year’s recipients are: Paul Banas, Alexander Berline, and Dietrich von Behren.

On Thursday, June 10 at 6pm, these fathers will be honored at an awards ceremony at Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Store. The Father’s Day Honors sets out to find local role model dads in the Bay Area who are making a positive impact through their style, generosity and dedication to their families and communities.

“The Father’s Day Honors awards ceremony allows us to celebrate these great dads, each with a unique style,” says Cheryl Fordham, General Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a shopping evening at Saks Fifth Avenue San Francisco where 10% of Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection sales that evening and throughout the weekend will be donated to The Guardsmen. The fathers will be outfitted in Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s Collection, becoming the ideal ambassadors in their community for the line of quality classics with an international point-of-view.
