Beverly Hills Chihuahua DVD Giveaway

Burbank, California, November 28, 2008—A pampered pooch gets caught up in a “ruff”-and-tumble comedy adventure in Beverly Hills Chihuahua, available on DVD and Blu-ray Hi-Def on March 3, 2009 from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.

Beverly Hills Chihuahua features live-action performances from some of Hollywood’s hottest stars including Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday) and Piper Perabo (The Prestige), the voice talents of Drew Barrymore (Charlie’s Angels), George Lopez (Swing Vote), Andy Garcia (Ocean’s Thirteen), Cheech Marin (Cars) and Paul Rodriguez (A Cinderella Story), and 200 of the cutest canines north or south of the border! With its themes of courage, friendship and fun, this heartwarming and sublimely silly action adventure is a can’t-miss DVD event for kids and adults.

When a chic Chihuahua named Chloe (voiced by Drew Barrymore) goes astray south of the border, she must find her own way back to her indulgent 90210 life. Wealthy Viv’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) diminutive darling is misplaced in Mexico by a careless dog-sitter (Piper Perabo), thrusting her into the dog-eat-dog life of an ordinary mutt. As Chloe tries to make her way north with the help of her self-appointed protector Delgado (voiced by Andy Garcia) and a pack of new four-legged friends, hometown hero Papi (voiced by George Lopez), Chloe’s ardent Chihuahua admirer, embarks on a cross-cultural mission to rescue his beloved. As Chloe goes from ridiculously spoiled to newly self-sufficient, she also learns to embrace her “tiny but mighty” Chihuahua heritage.

Bonus features include an all-new animated short, deleted scenes and bloopers—plus Blu-ray exclusives that take viewers behind-the-scenes of the breakout hit that has captured the hearts of families and canine lovers across the nation.

  • can’t you people run a contest that doesn’t require a comment its a fast paced world out there stop alienating people. boy you bloggers it that all you have is time on your hands.

  • We LOVE anything by Dr. Lehman. I just got my hubby the what a difference a daddy makes book and it’s Awesome!!! This movie looks WAY too cute btw!!! My kids would LOVE it!

  • Dr. Spock was my favorite when my children were babies and much of his advice is still good for today. There was a time parenting skills changed from the old doctors but in recent years, doctors are going back to the old time remedies and advice for parenting.

  • “Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi, really it is a subject most don’t like to talk about (kinda like sex when the kids are older) but everyone does it so it does need to be talked about. Open-ness in the family is what I believe it, be open with your kids about everything and they will be open with you.

  • I want to win this dvd its so cute. We have a little chi named Precious.
My fav parenting book is what to expect your first year. That was a lifesaver when my daughter was a baby.

  • I would have to go with Dr. Spock’s What to Expect When You’re Expecting, but I also saw a great DVD called “How to Win at Parenting Without Beating Your Child” by Barbara Colorosso (sp?). It may have been based on one of her books, I don’t know. Thanks for the cool giveaway!

  • I haven’t had a favorite but rather enjoy a number of books on parenting. Mostly I go back to the old standbys written by Dr. Spock and T. Berry Brazelton.

I also keep reading Love You Forever although I don’t know why I like it so much. 🙂 Makes me bawl like a baby every time.

  • It is hard to remember a parenting book although I do remember brochures given at the hospital. I tend to use what I learned as a child as my parents are great and they always tell me to use a lot of love, patience and common sense. So far so good.

  • Screamfree Parenting is the only parenting book I’ve read, but I got more about parenting out of other books, like The Gentle Art of Verbal Self Defense, The Last Lecture, Outliers, and any number of fiction books.

  • With any newborn, especially the first, there are a multitude of ‘experts’ to offer advice. Some of it is sound, some not, but virtually all with good intention. What we have found is that with all the expertise available it can be confusing as to the which advice is best and/or most beneficial (who would want less?). Having said that, the Bible – and not in a direct, instruction manual method – has afforded us a belief that whatever path parenting takes us, it is truly a road traveled with hope, faith, love & family.

  • My favorite parenting book is definitely the What To Expect When You’re Expecting and What To Expect in the Toddler Years, they were a huge help! Thanks for the great giveaway, my girls and I would love this movie.

  • The one book that was enormously helpful to me and my husband was “What to Expect.” We had two versions of this: When You’re Expecting, and the Toddler Years. The information was well-ordered and in-depth. It made both of us a lot more comfortable with the birth of our kids and early years of parenting.

  • Dr. Spock’s Baby and Childcare. My own parents always had Dr. Spock on hand when I was little. Of course when I was younger I always thought the book was written by that pointy eared character from Star Trek. Thank you for the fun give-away.
