I really like the movie My Girl and I think the dad played by Dan Akroyd is really great. The character’s name is Harry Sultenfuss.
Ryan Reynold’s character Will Hayes in Definitely, Maybe is a great dad. That’s such a funny off beat movie.
Kevin Costner as Ray Kinsella in Field of Dreams is another good one.
I like Jack Butler in Mr. Mom. Not a very progressive movie but really funny with Michael Keaton.
I love the Father of the Bride movies. George Banks is really funny.
Walt Griswold. How can you not love his love of Christmas.

I loved the character of Dan Burns (Steve Carell) in Dan in real life! He did a good job with raising 3 girls by himself! 🙂

Tough choice…Probably Atticus Finch in “To Kill a Mockingbird” followed by Guido in “Life Is Beautiful”. I also loved the dad in “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
