Unique Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Dad

January 7, 2011 by GreatDad Writers 1 Comment

Valentine’s Day may have traditionally meant more to women than
men so how do you find something for your boyfriend or husband that really shows you
care?

Chocolates, cards and flowers might be considered to be a bit girly by most men but
secretly they like to be spoiled too and there are plenty of cool Valentine’s Day gift ideas out
there that will make it a day to remember.

Buy him sexy undies

It is not just women who like
to feel special with gorgeous sexy underwear. There plenty of different types available. Although
silk underwear might appear to be sexiest and most romantic, it has to be functional too so have a
rummage through his underwear drawer and discover his favorites before you buy. Remember, you are
buying them for him, not you!

Give him an adventure

Make his dreams come true by arranging for
him to have the adventure that he has always wanted. Perhaps it is sky diving, flying a plane, hot
air ballooning, bungee jumping or paintballing. Experience days needn’t cost the earth and they will
certainly prove to be a present he will never forget.

Name a star after him

Show him how much
he means to you by having a star named after him. Only a small number of our stars have been named.
The “name a star” gift boxes make an extra special unique gift which will last for eternity.

Buy
him a sexy photo – of you!

There are plenty of professional studios that offer high quality sexy,
tasteful , photo shoots. As long as you check them out first you will find most photographers highly
professional and helpful. Even if you are very shy you will be amazed at the results. If you really
can’t cope with being semi-clad in front of strangers then you could always go for a beautiful
portrait photo instead.

Check out Valentines’ Day for gifts, ideas, and more.

I love Valentines Day because you get to show you father how much you appreciate him. Well this year, I’m going to buy my dad the Logitech Revue. It’s a new gadget that allows you to watch TV and browse the internet at the same time. You don’t need a remote anymore because the keyboard that comes with it controls everything for you. I work and subscribe to DISH Network services so the minute this was released, I was all over it and if you are a DISH Network customer, it is only $179 instead of the $299 price tag that it’s selling for in retail stores. I highly recommend that people try it out because it is well worth it!

Great Dad Talks

Great Dad Talks is a series of conversations with experts on all aspects of the family adventure. With the perspective that “dads don’t always think like moms,” our mission is to support dad voices and our slightly different approaches to parenting. We’ll try to find solutions to every day challenges like getting kids off the couch and making STEM classes available for both boys and girls. But we’ll also tackle bigger issues when they come. The one main theme will be to support dads in the most important role of their lives that of being a great dad.
