Father and son bonding for Brad Pitt

August 14, 2008 by James Dunsford Leave a Comment

Brad Pitt got in some father and son bonding time recently, taking adopted sons Maddox and Pax on a helicopter ride around Monaco.

He was in the tiny principality to celebrate rock star Bono’s birthday, after spending quality time with the family in France.

Earlier in the weekend he had taken the boys to join his pregnant wife Angelina Jolie for an ultrasound check in a French hospital, where they saw their two new sisters for the first time.

It is thought that the couple are expecting the addition of twin girls to their already sizable brood. Angelina previously adopted six-year-old Maddox, Pax Thien, four, and Zahara, three, and gave birth to their daughter Shiloh in 2006.

Angelina has said in the past that she decided to have a biological child after seeing how well Brad interacted with her adopted kids.

He has been photographed out and about doing his fatherly duties over the last few years, picking the children up from school, buying them sweet treats and taking them to the park.

Great Dad Talks
Great Dad Talks

Great Dad Talks is a series of conversations with experts on all aspects of the family adventure. With the perspective that “dads don’t always think like moms,” our mission is to support dad voices and our slightly different approaches to parenting. We’ll try to find solutions to every day challenges like getting kids off the couch and making STEM classes available for both boys and girls. But we’ll also tackle bigger issues when they come. The one main theme will be to support dads in the most important role of their lives that of being a great dad.
