Be prepared for a trip to the restaurant

Being a great dad is all about what you learned about from Scouts (even if you were never in them): Be Prepared. Here’s a good idea to stick in the car for trips or a wait at the restaurant. The Dream Bag. It’s basically a little bag with some stuff to play with. For my son, it’s little toy trains from Thomas (specifically Thomas and Percy), but for my daughter, it’s a pad of paper and a handful of markers. Make it easy to have these things when you need them by leaving them in the stroller, diaper bag, or back seat so they’re easy to find when you drive up to the restaurant.
